Ryan serves as CEO for the Gee Automotive companies and is Dealer Principal for all of its 27 new vehicle franchises. Ryan has 19 years of retail automotive experience, including leading the organization for the last 13 years.

Ryan serves as CEO for the Gee Automotive companies and is Dealer Principal for all of its 27 new vehicle franchises. Ryan has 19 years of retail automotive experience, including leading the organization for the last 13 years. Prior to his duties as President and then CEO, Ryan has served in numerous dealership positions including, sales, sales management, finance and insurance manager, service advisor, General Sales Manager and General Manager. Ryan has led the company's significant growth by focusing on the development of our team members and creating an unmatched purchase and service experience with our customers. Ryan also places a strong emphasis on the organization being a strong civic partner in the places we do business. Ryan personally serves on several boards including: the Greater Spokane Incorporated Board of Trustees, Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) Pacific U.S. regional board, past board chair of YPO Seattle Chapter, and the Community Cancer Fund, where he serves as Board President. Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Ryan also completed the NADA Dealer Academy. Ryan currently splits his time between Seattle and Spokane, WA and is married with two daughters.

George began in the automotive industry in 1977 and launched the company in 1983. For over 30 years we have operated the business using a few guiding principles that George has practiced every day. He believes that "happy team members make happy customers."

George Gee is the founder of Gee Automotive. George began in the automotive industry in 1977 and launched the company in 1983. George wanted to start a company which truly felt like a place where "families serve families". For over 30 years we have operated the business using a few guiding principles that George has practiced every day. He believes that "happy team members make happy customers". The leadership team has taken that principle to heart and continues to work to build a business in which team members feel a part of a large "family", where their skills and efforts advance the mission of the company each day and those skills and efforts are not taken for granted.

George has instilled in the organization that we come to work each day with a focus to continually meet and exceed customer expectations. This starts with each employee understanding and believing in the vision and mission of the company. Our hope is that Gee continues to be a place where each team member is able to reach for and obtain their personal and professional goals while providing the highest level of service to our valued customers.

Jeff is the president of Gee Automotive and provides leadership and oversight for the 27 Gee Automotive new vehicle franchises and five ancillary businesses.

Jeff is the president of Gee Automotive and provides leadership and oversight for the 27 Gee Automotive new vehicle franchises and five ancillary businesses. Jeff has 15 years of progressive automotive experience including five years in the marketing and field sales divisions of General Motors.  He also has 10 years with Gee Automotive, spending the last seven as group President. Jeff has direct experience in most of the key job functions of the dealership including as a sales consultant, service writer, new and used car manager, F&I manager and operations manager. Jeff has been a key driver of Gee's growth with a focus on building teams and systems that provide outstanding and consistent customer experiences and business outcomes. Jeff works closely with store management to further the vision and strategy of the company while supporting the unique needs of each dealership with organizational resources. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy. Jeff is a long time resident of the Seattle area where he currently lives with his wife and three small children. When he's not at work, Jeff enjoys time with his family and loves to explore the great Northwest by trail, skis or boat.

Erica has served as the CFO for Gee Automotive Companies since the acquisition of the Tonkin Family of Dealerships in May 2017. She started her automotive career in 1990 and has worked in all departments.

Erica has served as the CFO for Gee Automotive Companies since the acquisition of the Tonkin Family of Dealerships in May 2017. She started her automotive career in 1990 and has worked in all departments. After completing a BS in Finance and Management at the University of Oregon, she found that she had a passion for the processes and people in the dealerships and decided to make it her career. She prides herself in collaborating with dealership management on implementing best practices to achieve financial results. She earned her Masters of Financial Analysis at Portland State University while working at Ron Tonkin Honda and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in the Summer of 2009.

Married with a young son, the family enjoys the outdoors and exploring the great Northwest in their Jeep. Erica works in our Corporate Accounting Office in Milwaukie.

As CAO, Rich is responsible for all aspects of accounting, internal controls and consolidating the financial statements prepared in generally accepted accounting principles.

As Chief Accounting Officer of Gee Automotive, Rich is responsible for all aspects of accounting, internal controls, and consolidating the financial statements prepared in generally accepted accounting principles. Rich is also Chief Financial Officer of the Gee Investment Fund.  In this capacity, he is responsible for all fund-related accounting, compliance, analytics and investor reporting functions for the company.

Prior to joining Gee Automotive, Rich spent seven years being responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements and monitoring internal controls at two large automotive groups in the Pacific Northwest. Preceding entering the auto industry, he had fifteen years in the utility industry of progressive accounting, forecasting, and budgeting experience. During that time, he spent several years with KPMG LLP in the New York, NY and Portland, OR offices.

Rich earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Montana State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Washington. Rich is a long-time member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rich is also a long-time resident of Vancouver, WA while his office is located at our South Tacoma Honda dealership. Rich is married with two kids; a son and a daughter.

As of February 2019, Chad was promoted to the position of Platform Director (West). Prior to that he served as the General Manager of both Ron Tonkin Toyota and Ron Tonkin Mazda.

As of February 2019, Chad was promoted to the position of Platform Director (West). Prior to that he served as the General Manager of both Ron Tonkin Toyota and Ron Tonkin Mazda. As a Texas native, Chad graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  In 1992, he immediately started working in the automotive industry as a finance manager for a large Texas-based dealer group. In 2007, Chad began his career with the Company as the General Manager of the Chevrolet store “out 122nd way.” Now with over 25 years of managerial experience, Chad stays busy by serving on the Dealer Council for CUDL as well as actively participating in both NADA and OADA.

When Chad gets free time, he enjoys it by spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, running, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

Sean is a northwest native and began his automotive career out of college with Dave Smith’s in Idaho. During that time, Sean held multiple positions including Sales Representative, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and GM.

Sean is a northwest native and began his automotive career out of college with Dave Smith’s in Idaho. During that time, Sean held multiple positions including Sales Representative, Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and GM. When Dave Smith’s was acquired by RFJ, Sean was heavily involved with their growth teams and served as VP of Operations. There Sean was responsible for working with RFJ dealerships across the country to improve customer service, employee engagement, and operational performance.

Sean joined Gee Automotive in December 2018 as the Platform Director (East). With his commitment to Gee Automotive’s core values, and making a difference in the community, he has quickly become a valuable addition to the team.

Robert joined Gee Automotive as the Director of Corporate Development in 2019. Before joining Gee, he led Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Avid Technology; a publicly-held provider of technology solutions to the media industry.

Robert joined Gee Automotive as the Director of Corporate Development in 2019. Before joining Gee, he led Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Avid Technology; a publicly-held provider of technology solutions to the media industry. Robert began his career as an investment banker with Canaccord Adams in Boston and Cowen & Company in New York, where he advised client companies on capital raising and M&A activities. He received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from Wesleyan University.

Robert lives in Portland with his wife, Katie, and their young son, William. Together, they enjoy exploring the city of Portland and all that it has to offer.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Adam is a third-generation dealer. He has been the General Manager of Ron Tonkin Chevrolet since 2013 but has experience in many other positions with various other manufacturers including Toyota, Honda, Acura, and Fiat. Adam is a graduate of the University of Southern California.  He is a strong civic partner, having served on both the Board of the Northwest Academy and the Emerging Leaders Board of the Make a Wish Foundation. Adam leads his store by focusing on the development of his team and creating a superior purchase and service experience for his customers.

Ben is the General Manager of our concierge car buying program Tonkin2U; as well as our private party car buying service Tonkin Buy Center.  Ben is a Northwest native with stops in Holland, Denver, Kansas City, and London. He is a graduate of University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing.  Ben’s passion is all about improving the retail car buying and selling experience for the consumer and he is the vision creator of both Tonkin2U and Tonkin Buy Center. Outside of his passion for all things automotive, Ben fills his schedule with travel, exercise, quality time with his three children, skiing and a copious amount of spectating football, basketball and soccer.

Brent moved to Oregon in 1980 and began his career in the automotive industry in 1985. He joined the Tonkin organization in 1991 and is currently the General Manager of Ron Tonkin Honda. Brent has a bachelor’s degree in Management and Planning and has been happily married for 25 years. He and his wife have  two sons together. In Brent’s spare time he likes to get involved in the community. Brent has been a board member of KOMAK and has also received the Community Partner award from NW Impact. When Brent isn’t serving the community, he likes to relax by playing golf or watching soccer. His favorite teams are FC Barcelona, Chelsea, and of course, our very own Portland Timbers.

Brian Barnes is the General Manager of Ron Tonkin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat located in Milwaukie, OR.  Brian has worked for the Company since 1999. During that time Brian has served in many positions including sales, finance, sales management and General Sales Manager.  One of Brian’s proudest moments is when he started the holiday toy drive “Cram the Ram”; this event continues to support the Oregon City Police Department’s “Christmas 9-1-1 Gift Drive” to this day.

With his free time, Brian is earning his pilot license and likes to go boating, wake surfing, and traveling with this wife and two daughters; ages 7 and 9.

Dan serves as the General Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Spokane for Gee Automotive. Dan had a quick rise to authority as he only entered the automotive industry back in 2011; where he started as a Sales Associate. Since then, Dan has gained experience with Internet Management, Finance and Insurance Management, General Sales Management, and finally his position as a General Manager today. Dan is proud of his team and believes that one of his biggest jobs is to ensure that Gee Automotive’s core values and vision are shared and practiced among all employees. He directly correlates this passion to his prior success as Gee Automotive Liberty Lake’s General Sales Manager; especially with their favorable customer satisfaction reports.

Prior to Dan’s career with Gee Automotive, he served as the Technical Representative for the San Francisco Opera.  His duties and responsibilities focused on building and maintaining relationships with other Opera companies around the world to increase sales opportunities and trade lines.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dan met his wife at Arizona State University and have currently grounded roots in Spokane, WA where they are raising their three children.

Dan grew up in Bellevue, WA and went to Sammamish High School before earning a finance degree at Washington State University. Dan began his career at Walt’s Radiator and Muffler shops, a 28 location business across 4 different states, where he gained responsibility for managing the office and administration. When the business was sold, Dan transitioned into retail automotive as a controller and grew into one of the few general managers in the business with a strong finance and administration background. He is known for the humor and energy he brings to the dealership on a daily basis. Dan has two adult sons and lives in Puyallup, WA.

Gregg started in the industry in 2001 as a washing attendant after his career in minor league baseball got cut short. In 2007, Gregg came to be with the Tonkin dealerships and eventually made his way to the General Management position at Ron Tonkin Kia; where he is now.

Gregg spends his free time with his beautiful wife Brandy and their five wonderful kids. The family enjoys backpacking in the mountains and bowhunting. The Whiteakers pride themselves on being able to provide food for their family through hunting and being able to share the experience and the stories with their children. Gregg also prides himself on being involved in wildlife conservation with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers.

Hamid has been in the auto industry since 2002. When he started, he was attending the University of Washington Seattle; where he graduated with a BS in Physics and a BA in Mathematics. After graduation, he chose to stick with the automotive industry because he enjoyed it so much. He has been at Ford Hyundai of Kirkland since 2010 and is very proud of his team there. He isn’t shy to mention that they have earned multiple customer satisfaction awards as well as sales leadership awards. He and his wife, whom he met at school, live in Sammamish, WA with their 5 kids. Hamid really enjoys spending time with his family exploring the Pacific Northwest and going on long road trips.

In 1992, Jason started his career in the automotive industry as a Sales Representative at Ron Tonkin Mazda. Within a few years, Jason began moving up the sales ladder holding positions in Finance and General Sales Management at Ron Tonkin Toyota, Ron Tonkin Chevrolet, and Ron Tonkin Acura. In 2010, Tonkin opened Audi Wilsonville and Jason was promoted to the General Manager position. Under his leadership at Audi, Audi Wilsonville was awarded Magna Society five times and Magna Elite twice which only recognizes 12 dealerships nationwide for performance excellence and best in class customer relations. In 2017, Audi was sold to the O’Brien Group and Jason maintained his position through the acquisition. In February of 2019, the Tonkin Family of Dealerships, a Gee Automotive Company, welcomed Jason back as the General Manager of Ron Tonkin Mazda and Ron Tonkin Toyota.

Jason attributes his success to his strengths in employee engagement and providing an excellent customer experience. His stores take his lead and follow suit.

From there he went on to Arizona Automotive Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. The institute ignited his passion for the auto industry and he has stuck with the car business ever since! Jeff has been married for 26 years and they have 4 wonderful children together.

Jim has been with the Ron Tonkin Family of Dealerships since 1988.  In 1998, Jim moved to Ron Tonkin Acura and worked his way up until 2008 when he became the General Manager. Jim prides himself on the fact that Ron Tonkin Acura is one of a very few Acura dealers in North America to win the coveted Precision Team, Dealership of Distinction Award, twenty-four times.

 A native Oregonian, Jim graduated from the University of Oregon and also completed NADA Dealer Candidate Academy.  Away from work, he enjoys a large family that includes five children, two grandsons, three dogs, and last but not least- his “talented and wonderful wife.”

Jim Walen is a native of Bremerton, Washington.  After a year as an exchange student in Santiago, Chile, Jim completed 2 years of college and started selling cars during summer vacation.  He found what he loved to do and never looked back. 

Raised by a struggling single Mom, Jim became driven to succeed. His ambition quickly took him from young salesman, through most management positions in a dealership, ultimately to General Manager.  His talent was recognized by the owners of the Courtesy Auto group, in Denver, and Jim was given the opportunity to become a dealer.  Throughout his career, Jim worked in California, Kansas City, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and most recently in Washington State.  He has worked for most franchises, domestic and import, and has specialized in turning around troubled stores. 

Jim is the dealer and operator of Ford & Hyundai of Kirkland (since 2005) and is a partner in Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Seattle.  He is currently Chairman of the Western Washington Hyundai Dealers Advertising Association and has served on the boards of the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Ford Dealers Advertising Association, Seattle Sports Commission and the Puget Sound Auto Dealer Association.  Jim also serves on Ford’s Market Dealer Advisory Board, Consumer Experience Board, and the Ford Direct digital Advisory Board. 

Ford and Hyundai of Kirkland are the number 1 stores in the market for volume.

Kevin Riordan

Kevin has 27 years of industry experience, rising through the ranks from sales consultant to general manager. He grew up in New England, attended college in Springfield, MA at American International College. After graduation he moved to Phoenix, AZ where he met his wife and started in the car business. Kevin joined the Gee Automotive team as general manager of the Liberty Lake, WA campus in 2011. Kevin has a passion for customer service and is proud of the focus that his team brings to delighting customers every day. Kevin lives in Liberty Lake with his wife, Terri, and his daughter who attends Central Valley High School. His hobbies include golf and skiing with his family, which he particularly enjoys when his sons are home visiting from college.

Kurt Gross

Kurt started his career at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in 1985 as a parts counterman. He worked his way through the ranks and was promoted to Parts Manager in 1996. In 2001, Kurt and several other managers started Tonkin Parts Center (now the largest automotive parts distribution center in the North West). In 2014, he assumed the General Manager position of TPC and has been there ever since.

He and his wife Susan have been married for 32 years and have two daughters together, Stephanie and Nicole. As a family their lifelong hobby, which Kurt now likes to refer to as their “addiction”, is Drag Racing. The family, as a whole, travels each year to various western states and Canada to race.

Lance started off in sales at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in 2009; giving him many years of industry experience. He has gone through the ranks spending time as a Sales Consultant, Internet Manager, Finance Manager, New Car Manager, and General Sales Manager. In late 2019, Lance was promoted to General Manager of Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai. Lance has a passion for training and building strong teams focused on customer satisfaction and individual growth.

When away from work, Lance spends his time with his wife, Cari, and their two young children Jackson and Chase. Their weekends are filled with the kids playing sports or rooting on Lance’s hometown teams the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and the Kansas Jayhawks; with the occasional Oregon State Beavers thrown in the mix.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and followed with a Masters of Business Administration from Washington State University. In 2010, he joined the Tonkin Family of Dealerships, a Gee Automotive Company, as the General Manager for Gee Dealer Services; formerly Berco.

Mike was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle, WA. With all the traveling, Mike picked up hobbies including skiing, cycling, and watching movies. With all those in mind, Mike chose to make his home in Portland, Oregon; he continues to reside there with his wife and cute, but destructive, Havanese.

Nick started in the car business in 1986 after nine years of honing his customer service skills at Nordstrom.He has been at Gresham Subaru for 24 years, the last 17 as General Manager. Nick loves to personally help customers find the perfect vehicle and always has an open door policy with customers and employees. When he’s not at work, you will probably find him on a golf course, outdoors, or at home with his family in Washougal, WA.

In 1987, just following graduation from Washington State University with a degree in business, Scott started his career as a Sales Associate at Ron Tonkin Acura. In 1991, Scott moved to the General Manager position at Tonkin Gresham Honda; where he has stayed since then. He loves to mention that Gresham Honda is Oregon and SW Washington’s ONLY 8-time Winner, 6-time consecutive, Honda President’s Award recipient.

Scott’s 30+ years in the auto industry has led him to be the Vice President of the Honda Dealer Advertising Association since 2009; as well as NCM Honda 20 Group member, past chair, and executive committee member for over 15 years.

In his free time, Scott likes to travel with his beautiful wife of 25 years and his two daughters. Scott also enjoys basketball, football, and golf.

Sean has 18 years of industry experience under his belt and has been the General Manager of Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan since 2013. He loves to mention that his store has been awarded seven trophies for overall sales and customer satisfaction for both his sales department and his service department. When asked he will say that he is “Incredibly proud of them.”

Sean’s other pride and joy is his family - especially his beautiful wife Blythe. The couple share three children together, two sons and a daughter, and one grandson. When Sean is away from the office he enjoys golfing, traveling, and of course spending time with his family.

Wayne is originally from Alabama where he graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Criminology.  Wanting to combine his love for automobiles, and his passion for helping people, he turned from Criminology and entered the automotive industry; starting in sales. Since then, Wayne has gained 14 years of industry experience. Wayne strives to ensure that his employees and customers are completely satisfied; and jumps at the opportunity to correct it if they are not.

When not at work, Wayne and his family explore the Northwest, root for his alma Mater- the Auburn Tigers, and enjoy the Portland food scene.

Eric Hood was born and raised in Oregon where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Oregon State University. He has over 22 years of experience in the auto industry in various accounting positions. He says that what draws him in is the excitement and quick pace that it provides; especially with the constant development and innovation. He has been with the Company since 2000, and currently holds the position of Corporate Controller.

In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids; three sons and a daughter. Eric also enjoys tinkering with old cars, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and playing sports.

In 2003 Jenna, who was originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Shortly after, in 2004, Jenna went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Finally, in 2007, Jenna went back once more and obtained her Master Degree in Accounting. With this strong educational background, Jenna utilized her strengths in accounting by teaching, as a faculty member, for accounting and economics for University of Phoenix and Independence University.

Since then Jenna has switched her focus to automotive accounting and in 2018 joined the Gee Automotive team as a Business Manager. In April of 2019, Jenna was promoted to the position of East Platform Controller. In her current role, Jenna’s responsibilities include developing and supporting the corporate accounting processes and procedures to create efficient operations. Jenna is also responsible for recruiting, training, supporting, and managing the Business Managers under Gee Automotive’s East Platform.

In her free time, Jenna likes to attend both her children’s many sporting events, takes both her dogs on long walks, and plays fantasy football.

Laura Coon

Laura Coon

Director of Human Resources

Laura Coon is the Director of People Operations for Gee Automotive.  She oversees Human Resources, Talent Management and Recruiting, Employee Engagement, and Payroll and Benefits for the 1600+ member Gee Team.   Laura’s role is to collaboratively set, and execute on, the long-term vision for all HR/People functions, consistently improving effectiveness and helping achieve Gee’s overall business goals. Laura’s greatest reward is helping employees develop and grow into leaders in the organization.

 Laura joined Gee Automotive with their acquisition of the Ron Tonkin Dealerships in 2017, after serving as Tonkin’s Human Resources Director for 20+ years. Laura has over 30 years experience in the automotive industry and has worked in Human Resources for 23 of those years. She holds both SHRM-SCP and HRCI–SPHR Advanced HR Certifications. Laura also spent eleven years with Chrysler Regional Sales and Service Management in the Pacific Northwest and New England regions.   

Laura graduated from the University of Southern California (USC), and loves watching the Trojans.  She and her husband, Ed, have two daughters who play collegiate sports at Arizona State and University of Oregon; so she always roots for the Pac12. Along with travel, she enjoys skiing and trying new restaurants.

Sam Madison

Finance Director and GM DEG

Sam Madison grew up in a military family with both parents and two sisters. Being in such a family, Sam was well traveled at a very early age. In the early 90s, and after 25 years of service, Sam’s father retired from the Army and chose to settle the family in Texas. After a few years, Sam migrated to the Dallas / Fort Worth area for work. Shortly after, in 1996, Sam began his career in the automotive business as a Sales Consultant; and soon discovered his passion for it.

In 2003, Sam took a position as a F&I Consultant and Trainer with EFG Companies. The new job prompted a move from Texas to the Pacific Northwest. In 2005, Sam joined the Tonkin Family of Dealerships as the Corporate Finance Director; and has maintained that position ever since. When Gee Automotive acquired the Tonkin Family of Dealerships, in May of 2017, Sam expanded his responsibilities to all of Gee’s dealerships in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Away from work, Sam loves spending time on the golf course with friends or at home with his wife and son.

Corporate Project Manager

Shana Redmond was born and raised on the Central California Coast where in 1986 she graduated from Dos Pueblos High School. After graduation Shana didn’t go too far from home as she attended University of California. There, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma the Epsilon Psi Chapter. In 1991, Shana graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and Criminal Justice.

After college, Shana found work with the law firms Mullen and Henzell, and McCarthy and Kroes. She stayed in law until 1997 when she decided to move up to Portland, Oregon; shortly after she joined the Tonkin Dealerships as Ed and Brad Tonkin’s Executive Assistant. In 2004, she was promoted to Project Manager for Brad and Ed with the intent to facilitate capital improvements and new construction within the Tonkin dealerships. Eventually Shana moved up once more to Project Manager for Ron Tonkin Family of Dealerships, a Gee Automotive Company, where she remains today. Shana also currently maintains the office of Secretary on the Board of Directors for many of the Tonkin Family Corporations.

Shana currently lives in Happy Valley, Oregon with her husband Bryan. The couple have two children, a daughter Kacie and a son Carson. The four of them enjoy the outdoors together, traveling, and time with their large extended family. When Shana’s away from work and family she likes to volunteer. In the past she has served on the Christ the King Parish and School Auction Committee, Home and School Association, and Capital Campaign and Building Committee. Shana currently serves on the Endowment Board for Christ the King Parish and the La Salle College Preparatory Believe Benefit Committee.

Torey Mittendorf

Torey Mittendorf

Facilities Manager

Torey joined the Gee Automotive Companies in 2017 when they acquired The Ron Tonkin Family of Dealerships. Prior to that, Torey had been with the Tonkin group for 25 years. Torey’s most recent position has been Project Manager and Facilities Director for the Gees. In this position, Torey has acted as a member of the Acquisitions Team, the Head of the Facilities Department, and an Advisor to the IT Department.

Torey’s history ranges from a Lot Porter at Pioneer Honda in Anchorage Alaska in 1987 to working his way up through the ranks to becoming the Parts Manager at Gresham Honda in 1992. From there, Torey began to climb the corporate ladder as he joined the Executive Team as the IT Department Director (in 2000). In 2005, Torey took on an additional role as Project Manager for the Tonkins. Finally, in 2017, he stepped up to Project Manager / Facilities Director as the company continues to grow.

Torey is very proud of the fact that he has advised on, and coordinated, many successful “ground up” constructions projects; as well as many notable remodels. He credits his accomplishments to his extensive and varied knowledge, along with ample experience, in construction, electrical work, plumbing, phone, and other systems. 

Torey is a long-time resident of the Gresham area. He resides with his wife of 20 years along with their two children. In his spare time, you can find him immersed in home improvement projects and refining his skills as an ace marksman.

Zach Lucas

Zach Lucas

IT Director

Zach is IT manager for Gee Automotive and oversees IT operations for Gee Automotive and Tonkin Family of Dealerships. He has been with the company for 15 years developing IT policies and implementing technology-related infrastructure. He is committed to protecting customer data by maintaining a secure, reliable, and compliant digital environment.

Zach and his partner live in Portland with their two orange tabby cats. When he’s not tinkering with new technology, he’s likely attempting a home project, or hitting the slopes.

Zach works out of the Tonkin Parts Center.
