The 1260 was the final and largest of the L-twin Multistradas. The Testastretta DVT engine grew to 1,262 cc with variable timing on both cams, and Ducati rated it at 158 hp at 9,500 rpm and 129.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm, with a fatter midrange than the 1200 it replaced. It sits in a tubular steel trellis frame with an aluminum single-sided swingarm, and it rolls on 17-inch wheels at both ends with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires.
The S specification means Sachs semi-active suspension controlled by Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo, Brembo M50 Evo monobloc calipers on 330 mm discs, Bosch Cornering ABS, and a 5-inch TFT. Riding modes are Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro, with power modes, the Ducati Safety Pack, wheelie control, cornering lights, and Vehicle Hold Control. The up/down quickshifter, cruise control, hands-free ignition, backlit switches, and Ducati Multimedia System are standard. The Touring designation adds side cases, heated grips, and a center stand; we'll confirm the exact accessories on this unit.
Seat height is adjustable between 32.5 and 33.3 inches, and the tank holds 5.3 gallons. Valve checks on the DVT engine are every 18,000 miles.
